have been pushing the team and the car ever since. I have been the crew

"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." Hunter S. Thompson |
| Bio |
Growing up in rural Licking county, Brett developed a love for slinging tar and gravel when Josh and Jon were still in diapers. He started wrenching on Harley-Davidson dirt bikes in high school while working at his cousin's SOHIO filling station. "Back in them days, we actually pumped the gas for ya', and even cleaned yer winders!" Brett bought his first VW in 1977, a '70 Beetle. Loved to demonstrate his driving prowess on "impassable" snow covered back country roads on his new Goodyear Tiempo All-Season Steel Belted Radials. Graduating to a '77 Scirocco after college, Brett acquired a taste for speed that has been partially satisfied through a succession of progressively faster VW/Porsche/Audi vehicles. Totaled his boy racer GTI last winter and was lured to the dark side, dabbling in Shelby Dodges and Toyota MR-2's until finding a home with RallyVW Racing. An aging DeadHead, Brett can still be found lying under his '72 Bus listening to "Scarlet Begonias" and adjusting his valves per St. Muir. |
